Our Story.

It all started on the beaches of Saboga.

Our founder, Marie DeCesare, sat with friends watching the waves roll in on the remote island of Saboga, Panama. The conversation turned to life, travel and freedom, and the wheels began turning. Why do we work so hard to enjoy these moments only a few times a year?

With a background in international tax and a passion for travel, Marie created NOMAD to rethink traditional home sharing and home swapping. A new generation of remote workers no longer needs to live in one place. They need affordable, trusted places to land.

NOMAD takes the burden off the traveler by curating Travel Groups that match location and property preferences, encourage real relationships and make long stays affordable. Thank you for embarking on this journey with us.
